A mobile application version of Mercury — a central repository used to coordinate electromagnetic spectrum frequencies during humanitarian assistance/disaster relief (HA/DR) operations — is now available for download on both Apple and Android devices. Search for “Mercury Spectrum” in the app store.

09/26/2017 DISA-managed network supports surveillance satellite communications

Air Force Space Command (AFSC) and the Diego Garcia tracking station (DGS) are using the Defense Information Systems Network (DISN) Converged Access (DCA) Lite Network to communicate with the Operationally Responsive Space-5 (ORS-5), a space surveillance satellite that launched on Aug. 26.

Department of Defense Mobility Program users will see a major rate reduction for mobile services provided by the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) in fiscal year 2018 (FY18).

Air Force Brig Gen Brian T. Dravis, director of the Joint Service Provider (JSP), and mobilization assistant to the director of the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), received his second star in a ceremony held in the Pentagon’s Hall of Heroes on Sept. 12.

The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Working Capital Fund earned a clean audit result from an independent public accounting agency hired by the Department of Defense (DOD) Office of the Inspector General.

A clean audit provides Congress, the DOD, customers, stakeholders, and taxpayers the confidence to know that DISA is fiscally responsible and conducting business in a consistent manner.
